How to get started

Start a free trial. Register at flxxapp.com/register and choose a plan. A tier can be preselected with ?plan=pro|business|premium&billing=monthly|annual.

Add a building and its floors. On the Buildings page, click Add Building, enter the name, address, and city, then the number of floors. FloorLogixx then offers to open the Floor Plan Editor with the upload dialog ready.

Upload and map the floor plan. Upload a PDF or image. For multi-page PDFs, the Page Picker modal zooms to 300% and pans across the drawing so you can confirm the right page. Then draw spaces on top of the background.

Add employees and assign them. Import them manually, or sync automatically from Entra ID via SCIM on Business and above. Click a space to assign someone.

Review utilization. Open Reports for occupancy and capacity statistics, or call GET /api/reports/utilization on Premium and Enterprise.

Glossary

Space

An individually mapped, assignable area on a floor plan — a desk, private office, or meeting room. Each space carries its own capacity and status, and a floor's total capacity is the sum of its spaces.

Assignment

The link between an employee and a space, effective from a start date. An active assignment on the viewed date overrides the space's base status and marks it OCCUPIED.

Space utilization

The share of mapped capacity actually occupied by active assignments — the core metric for judging whether an office footprint is too large, too small, or unevenly distributed.

Digital twin (of an office)

A live digital model of a physical floor in which each space reflects current occupancy, capacity, and assignment history, as opposed to a static CAD drawing that shows geometry only.

Draft floor plan

A sandbox copy of a floor in which admins can move employees and change desks without affecting the live layout, then apply every change at once by publishing. Business and above.

SCIM v2
